🎭 MEET THE CAST 🎭
Napier Repertory Players Art Deco Production of "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie Directed by Simon Law at Napier Little Theatre. 20th Feb - 7th Mar 2020
John Chalmers - playing General McKenzie
Around 30 years ago John was encouraged by a friend to audition for a part in a one act play for Stagecraft Theatre in Wellington. He got the part and the 'theatre bug' got a hold of him. After many years of involvement with Stagecraft and Wellington Repertory Theatre, which included mainly acting with a little stage management and set building thrown in, John and his partner Linda moved to Otane in 2015 to 'semi retire'. Waipukurau Little Theatre is where John has more recently been involved appearing as Bardolph in 'Entertaining Angels' and as the gorgeous transvestite Delilah in 'Stiff'. Simon Law directed both productions, so it's a delight to be working with him again in 'And Then There Were None'.
